DOJANG RULES OF BEHAVIOR AND ETIQUETTE
Arrive on time for class
Whenever you arrive late for class, bow in and wait on your knees for permission, then bow in again and join the class.
Be in a mental attitude to train While inside or near the dojang talk quietly
While inside or near the dojang behave properly
Remove your shoes before entering the dojang
Always wear a clean uniform
Remove jewelry before training
No food, beverages, or gum allowed inside the dojang
Do not interrupt a class that is in session
Bow to your grandmaster and master when you arrive
Have your attendance card when you start class
Do not ask the grandmaster or any master to show you a technique
Always use two hands to give or receive anything from the grandmaster or master
When called upon by the grandmaster or master answer, “yes sir or no sir” and “yes mam or no mam”
Do not leave personal items in the locker rooms
Help keep the dojang clean and orderly
Do not demonstrate or teach tae kwon do outside the dojang without permission
Obtain permission before entering in any outside tournaments or competitions
Always be a positive example, do not disgrace your grandmaster or your school
